Reading Town Hall
After a break of six months, it has been announced that it has been possible to arrange a new series of lunchtime organ recitals at Reading Town Hall. The recitals will now take place on Monday lunchtimes at 1pm. The first event is to be on Monday 26 June, when former Royal Festival Hall organ scholar Weston Jennings will play.

Full details for the series are still being fixed, but please visit the BOA website
for the latest information.

Tuesday 2 May 8pm. St Lawrence Church, Church Street, Alton, Hampshire.
Organ recital by Thomas Trotter. Programme includes world premiere of a work by Ad Wammes. Admission £10 (Season Membership offer available for eight concerts). For more information and to book tickets contact

Organ Concert by Neil Wright (Farnborough Abbey). Admission free. Retiring collection. For more information, visit

Thursday 11 May 7.30pm. Reading Town Hall (Concert Hall).
Celebrity organ recital on the Father Willis Organ by Simon Johnson (St Paul's Cathedral). Programme includes music by Mendelssohn, Cocker, Brewer, Whitlock, Thalben-Ball, Stanford, Bonnet and Widor. £10 including booking fee. Free pre-concert talk at 6.15pm.

Lunchtime Organ Recital by Benjamin Cunningham (Organ Scholar, Westminster Abbey). Tickets £9.

Saturday 13 May     ** BOA Event ** Recital, tea and AGM at Wesley Methodist Church, Queen's Rd, Reading RG1 4BW.
The recital will be given by Christopher Cipkin, starting at 4pm, and features music by J.S.Bach, Lefébure-Wély, Te Velde, Bairstow, Jackson, Joplin and Merkel. Please notify the
Programme Secretary if you wish to attend, no later than Monday 8 May. Non-BOA members are welcome to attend the recital (admission £5).  

Wednesday 17 May 8pm. St John the Baptist, Cookham Dean, SL6 9PD.
Organ concert by Nathaniel Keiller (Windsor). as part of the
Cookham festival. Tickets £10.  

Friday 19 May 12.30 - 1.15pm. Minster Church of St Mary the Virgin, Reading.
Lunchtime Organ Recital by
Rosemary Evans. Programme to include music by Carl Nielsen, Vivaldi arr. J.S. Bach, Elgar arr. A. Herbert Brewer, John Alcock, Mendelssohn arr. Edmondstoune Duncan/Robert Gower and Théodore Dubois. Admission free. Retiring collection.
 

Saturday 20 May 7.30pm. St Peter's Church, Caversham.
English Choral Music fit for a Coronation, presented by Erleigh Cantors, directed by Ian Westley, with organist Philip Aspden. Programme includes coronation anthems, and music by Tippett and Dove.
