From the Chair
Thursday 9th January 2020
Dear all,
Firstly, I would like to welcome a new member, David Oats, who has kindly agreed to stand for election as Hon. Treasurer at the AGM to replace Barry Gowers who is stepping down after many years of outstanding service. David has been co-opted on to the NDOA Committee as Acting Assistant Treasurer. We are most grateful that he has already set up the Gift Aid facility for us.
As no one has stepped forward to take over as Chair, I am happy to stand for election for another year. Hopefully, someone from the new committee will consider taking NDOA forward.
Our NDOA Annual Lunch will be on Saturday 15th February 2020 at The Bowler’s Arms, Enborne Street, Newbury. RG14 6TW, 12 noon for 12.30pm. This is the final social event that Ann Turner will organise and we are most grateful to her for her assistance in running NDOA activities with such dedication. Please click here for the menu choices, which should be returned to Ann by Saturday 8th February.
The NDOA AGM will be held on Saturday 22nd February 2020 at Newbury Methodist Church, 56 Northbrook Street, Newbury. RG14 1AN. The schedule for the day is as follows:
12 noon - 2019 Bursary Applicants play
