4pm. St Mary's Church, Shinfield. Recital, tea and AGM. The recital at 4pm will be given by the President, Andy Baldwin. Tea, for which donations to the Benevolent Fund will be invited, will follow at 5pm. The AGM will begin at c.5.45pm. 7.30pm. Royal Memorial Chapel, Sandhurst. "Music in a Sacred Space". The Choir of The Royal Memorial Chapel directed by Peter Beaven, with Simon Dinsdale (organ). Programme includes choral music by Monteverdi, Haydn, Sumsion, Gibbons and Vierne, and organ pieces by Walton and Boëllmann. Admission free, with retiring collection for the work of the chapel. Please note that for security reasons the names of attendees must be provided in advance to gain admission. The closing date for applications is 8 May. The programme will consist of sacred music from England and Spain, including works by Byrd, Weelkes, Parry, Guerrero and Vivanco.
