Ann Turner has kindly arranged our NDOA Annual Lunch, which will be on Saturday 15th February 2020 at The Bowler’s Arms, Enborne Street, Newbury. RG14 6TW, 12 noon for 12.30pm. This is the final social event that she will organise and we are most grateful to her for her assistance in running NDOA activities with such dedication. I will send you the menu choices nearer the time.
The NDOA AGM will be held on Saturday 22nd February 2020 at Newbury Methodist Church, 56 Northbrook Street, Newbury. RG14 1AN. The schedule for the day is as follows:
12 noon - 2019 Bursary Applicants play
1pm – Selected applicants rehearse/lunch – please bring your own food
2pm – Selected applicants perform to NDOA members
2.30pm – AGM
3.30pm – Talk by the Shepherd brothers, John and Eric, of B.C. Shepherd & Sons, who rebuilt the organ in 2014.
4.15pm – Members playing opportunity and tea/cake
Finally, please note that the next NDOA Lunchtime Recital will be at Newbury Methodist Church on Thursday 12th December at 1.10pm, not St. Nicolas.
