Looking ahead, our next NDOA AGM will be held at 2pm on Saturday 23rd February 2019 at St. Matthew, Midgham. RG7 5UW. The whole day (from 12noon to 5pm) will include performances by selected 2018 Bursary Applicants on the recently restored organ, an opportunity for members to play, a talk and tea and cake. There is ample parking and a loo.
Also, the Berkshire Organists’ Association would like to invite members of the Newbury Association to their Annual Dinner which is being held on Saturday 17th November 2018, at 7.30pm. The venue is Stirrups Country House Hotel at Maidens Green, near Bracknell RG42 6LD. A three course meal @ £32 is provided. Our Guest Speaker will be Peter Wright, who, as members will remember, was Assistant Organist at Guildford Cathedral before becoming Organist and Director of Music at Southwark Cathedral.
